Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer with extensive experience in managing multiple IT infrastructures. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and managing IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage multiple IT infrastructures, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure they are secure and operating efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing solutions and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to improve their technical skills and understanding of IT systems.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect IT systems from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
- Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to track system performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to address them.
- Version Control: Work with version control systems like Git, managing repositories efficiently and ensuring smooth software deployment.
- Cloud Services: Manage cloud-based services and virtualization platforms, contributing to the effective and secure deployment of applications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support and IT infrastructure management.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA) are highly desirable.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Knowledge of storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming languages.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
- Prior experience with version control systems like Git.
